Because we are Australian owned our customers are in full control of their IP. REM takes great care in ensuring bills of materials (BOMs) and PCB design files are secure and tightly controlled. Only gerber files are used for offshore bare board manfacturing and BOMs are fully scrubbed so only the relevant suppliers or manufacturers are asked to quote or supply.
REM uses dedicated manufacturing resource planning software (MRP). This allows us to control all aspects of our business such as: master production scheduling, item master data and traceability, bills of materials (BOM), inventories, purchasing management and engineering control changes
Each customer is assigned a dedicated project manager who will liase with them. The Project Manager will ensure they understand the customers business and will tailor fit our services to suit their individual needs and objectives. This single point of contact ensures the customer receives the highest levels of communcation in a timely manner.
Our manufacturing experience means we can employ best design for manufacturability principles (DFM) to assist customers with existing or new designs.
IPC-A-610 is the internationally recognised standard for all electronic assembly worldwide. The standard covers areas such as soldering, cleaning, component placement and re-work. All assembly processes and QA inspection at Circuitworks adhere to the IPC-A-610 standards.
